NCAA Football Betting Tips

Lucky Lester here with some NCAA Football Betting Tips for all you guys out there who, like me, are counting the days till the College Football season kicks off (no pun intended).

Through out College Football Season, I will be posting a series of articles with some betting tips and other information that should help you succeed in winning a little extra cash with your NCAA Football wager at your favorite online sport book.

So come back often to check out my NCAA Football Betting Tips.

You Heard It Here First

I'm here to talk about six teams that are going to disrupt the preseason rankings and surprise the hell out of the big time teams and conferences everywhere. Memphis, Wisconsin, Kansas State, Auburn, Maryland and Texas might not be on anybody's top five lists, most won't even crack the top 10, with one that won't even start out the season in the top 25. But don't hesitate to put your money on these six squads. Anyone can tell you that Oklahoma, USC, Miami, and FSU are going to win games, but with spreads that stretch over five touchdowns, where's the money in that? Listen closely, and stack the odds in your favor. Bet on these teams to win and you won't catch yourself kicking your TV off its stand because Oklahoma didn't beat Texas A&M by the 42 point spread.
(Rankings are from the Associated Press as of September 2)

Maryland (22)
The Terps have won at least ten games the last three years. Don't bet for a second that they'll stand pat at their pre-season ranking of 22. Ralph Friedgen has his team believing they can compete with any team in the nation, and they can. Tailback Josh Allen and receiver/return specialist Steve Suter will lead Friedgens high-powered offense into the end zone. The roadblock defense remains one of the top in the ACC, last year allowing a miserly 16 points per game. The line backing crew will be tough with returning team leader in tackles (136) D'Qwell Jackson paving the way. Ralph; also know as The Fridge, will find just the right amount of help from his young players to help him get to double digits in wins for the fourth strait season. A five-week time period when Maryland plays NC State, Clemson, Florida State, Virginia, and Virginia Tech consecutively will be tough on the Terps. But they will never loose two in a row, Ralph Friedgen won't allow it. Stay tuned and bet on a bounce back performance. Maryland has the best; most prepared special teams in the nation, and steal points away from opponents off of kick and punt returns. Three seniors on the O-line will keep the pressure off quarterback Joel Statham, and he'll find his speedy weapons. Many experts pick the Terps to finish as low as sixth in the ACC, so make sure to take advantage of the Saturdays when they take the underdog role, Coach Friedgen loves to win, but loves it even more when he's not suppose to.
